BIO

Beginning his career in Motivational Speaking at the tender age of 10 as sixth in line to the throne known as the House of Bond, Darren was born and raised in Indianopolis, IN and is a proud product of the Indianopolis Public School System.

Darren began his Sales and Marketing career by first working for one of his older brothers on his morning paper route.  The paper route launched his first paying gig when he convinced one of his brother's customers to let him empty the trash cans in her Beauty Salon at closing everyday.  As an early avid reader, Darren began to read the very newspaper he was delivering and would delight the customers with the contents of the morning paper ... whether they asked him or not ... and his speaking career was launched.  Although he was teased mercilessly and an occasional shoe was thrown at him by a family member, he was nonetheless found to be quite entertaining and informative.

Darren of course had all the growing pains associated with being a teen and then of course the insane pressures of becoming an adult.  He has amazing and inspiring stories of some of the challenges he faced head-on and overcame.  His story of becoming a US Marine and losing one of his brothers at a very young age is compelling and inspiring.  Darren's journey to become the only one in his family to graduate from a full four year University is a motivating tale sure to inspire, motivate and educate teens and adults alike.  Darren's journey has placed him in an array of jobs and experiences that are rich and compelling stories of perseverance, personal growth, acceptance, accountability, focus, strength and the love of life has resulted.

Darren has extensive experience working with mentally and physically challenged adults when he worked for RMS (Residential Management Services) as a Group Coordinator.  He also has an abundance of experience working with youth at risk when he served as the Assistant Director for Project Excel.  This program was born out of the Marion County Prosecutors office and executed through a strategic partnership with Boy Scouts of America for the sole client Indiana School for Boys.  Elements of the program he co-wrote, developed and delivered, are still being utilized today.  The story behind this program and his contribution is the perfect class for youth at risk.

Darren has enjoyed a wonderful journey in the Entertainment Industry as well.  From his humble beginnings as an Assistant to learning the fine art of Managing and Branding celebrities.  Besides working his way through all kinds of adversities, he is proud of the personal goals and achievments he has made, example completing the LA Marathon to name a few.  He enjoys Racquetball, NFL, NBA and Running.  Darren is also a loyal foodie and he specializes in cooking for the Soul.  He is a huge Food Network fan.
